  • Customers who opt-in for any plans will sign a two-years contract.
  • Customers will get the modem free of charge for all plans.
  • Outdoor installation charges are OMR 10.
  • Customers can check remaining data balance and billing status by dialing *288*wireless Number# , or through Omantel APP.
    -Also, subscribe for data Add-Ons on by dialing *288*wireless Number# , or through Omantel APP.
  • Without prejudice to the penalties stipulated in the Telecommunications Regulatory Act of the Sultanate of Oman promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2002, the beneficiary is not entitled to redistribute internet service outside the contracted residential/commercial unit and bears all legal responsibilities resulting from this violation if proven. The authority or Company has the right to terminate the service for the beneficiary if this violation is proven and to suspend the service for the period specified by the Authority.
  • In the event of early termination or termination due to non-payment before the end of the minimum contract period, customers should pay the early termination charges of the plan and modem shown in the table below without prejudice to due entitlement related to the plan subscription before the date of termination or withdrawal.

If my bill is due in 3 days, will I be able to enjoy the data add-ons I purchased today for 30 days?

The selected data add-ons will be renewed at the end of the month and the customer will be fully charged for the data.

If I choose data Add-on and then I subscribe to a new data add-on. Will the data Add-on be renewed after my bill cycle?

Yes, both data add-ons will be renewed.

How many Add-ons can I purchase in the same cycle ? And will they both work at the same time?

3 times for data Add-ons that customer can activated.

Will there be a carry to next month option for the unused Add-ons?

No, the Add-ons will be valid until the end of the month only.

  • Note: All prices mentioned are exclusive of VAT. 5% VAT will be added to the price upon purchase.
  • These plans are available for new and existing customers
  • New customers must sign a 12-month commitment contract to avail of any Home Internet plans.
  • The Jawwy TV Home customers need to sign a 24-month commitment contract. Upon signing the contract, they shall receive STB (Set-top box) with the Jawwy TV Home plan.
  • The installation charges are 15 OMR
  • For the OMR 25 plan, the modem charges are OMR 1 per month for the period of 24 months.
  • Internal wiring in your building, firewall configuration on your PC, your location, type of content and the distance to Wi-Fi and access point will affect the actual speed.
  • Without prejudice to the penalties stipulated in the Telecommunications Regulatory Act of the Sultanate of Oman promulgated by Royal Decree 30/2002, the beneficiary is not entitled to redistribute internet service outside the contracted residential/commercial unit and bears all legal responsibilities resulting from this violation if proven. Follow the steps below to manually set up your Home Internet Service.

  • Step 1: Connect a telephone line to your modem or router.
  • Step 2: Connect a LAN cable to your modem or router and connect it to your computer.
  • Step 3: Power ON your modem or router.
  • Step 4: Start internet explorer or your preferred internet browser on your computer.
  • Step 5: Enter the setup page IP address on your internet browser and enter the default username and password depending on your modem or router brand as shown below:

Basic

Basic is the default offer for areas with ADSL coverage. A fixed line subscription will be included with all Basic price plans with most even offering free fixed on-net minutes and discounts on international calls.

  • Customers will be charged RO 1 R.O per 1 GB once they exceeds the 20 GB data included for in the basic plan.
  • The new customers will have to sign a 24-12 months commitment contract to subscribe to any of the home internet plans.
  • The installation charges are RO 10 OMR.
  • The availability of the various download and upload speeds is subject to various factors such as signal power, distance from the exchange.
  • Internal wiring in your building, firewall configuration on your PC, your location, type of content and the distance to Wi-Fi and access point will affect the actual speed.
  • Customers will receive a modem/Set-top Top Box/Installation (whichever is applicable) with the Basic Home internet plan.
  • Customers will receive a modem/Set-top Top Box/Installation (whichever is applicable) with the Home internet plan.
  • In the event of that premature contractly terminatione or cancellation of subscription or terminated for nonpayment before the end of the 12/24 months’ period, Customers shallould return the Set-top-box and pay the termination fees charge as set out in the table below without prejudice to due entitlement related to the Plan subscription before the date of termination or withdrawal.
