- All prices for the new Baqati plans and add-ons exclude VAT. A 5% VAT will be added to the total price at the time of purchase.
- The new plans are available for both new and existing customers, including those switching from prepaid to postpaid or upgrading from their current plans.
- Once a customer activates a new Baqati plan, they cannot revert to old plans.
- All new Baqati plans are of 12 months Contract (except Baqati 11) if terminated would incurred an early exit fee calculated as per following formula: 2 x monthly recurring charge of your Baqati plan x (remaining number of months of contract / 12).
- All plans would have default PAYG Blocker for Local as well as while roaming.
- For the Data rollover only the unused main data from the plan bundle can be carried forward to the next month.
- Smart SIMs can be used seamlessly across different smart devices (e.g., Camera’s, Home gates, Smart home devices, etc.) available to all Baqati plans at a monthly fee of OMR 1. Once the Smart SIM data allowance is fully consumed, customers may subscribe to any of the available local data add-ons.
- All Baqati customers will receive a clear monthly bill detailing national and international calls, data usage, roaming charges, and monthly subscription fees.
- Payment is due 30 days from the bill date.
- Bills can be viewed and paid conveniently via the Omantel App.
- The plan bundle data for all new Baqati plans is valid for use across GCC countries, in accordance with the plan’s terms and conditions.
- The new Baqati plans do not include PAYG roaming data, ensuring that customers are protected from any unexpected charges.
- Customers may select from the available Jawazak roaming bundles whenever they require data usage while traveling outside Oman.
- The out of bundle usage charges are as follows:
- Price per local SMS is 9 Bz
- Price per International SMS is 50 Bz
- Video calls made over the mobile network will consume data from the plan’s main data bundle or any active local data add-on. Voice minutes used during video calls will be deducted from the plan’s included voice allowance.
- All customers can join the new Baqati plans, whether they are moving from Hayyak to Baqati, joining new customers, or upgrading from their existing Baqati portfolio.
- When converting a prepaid line to a Baqati plan, any existing balance will be added to the account and will be deducted from the total bill once it is generated.

- With Baqati non-contract plans, you may freely upgrade or downgrade or cancel anytime.
- As a part of the new Baqati plan (non-contract), you are eligible to get free Baqati Gift Box discounts on Application stores only – DCB (Apple Store, Google Play, App Gallery). Except Baqati Blue+
- For Baqati Bronze plan only, once your bundle data is consumed, then you may have the choice to continue as PAYG local data or subscribe to our Data Addons
- In Baqati Blue+ plan, your PAYG local and roaming data is blocked, you shall have the option to subscribe to our Roaming Jawazak plans only.
- Baqati Silver, Baqati Gold and Baqati Platinum plans, you can enjoy non-stop local data after the consumption of local data allowance in the bundle with a fair usage policy of reduced speed to 512 kbps. In these plans you will not be charged with PAYG (Pay as you go) local data charges.
- The out of bundle usage charges are as follows:
- Price per MB out of data bundle is 9Bz/MB (applies to Baqati Bronze plans only)
- Price per local SMS is 9 Bz
- Price per International SMS is 50 Bz
- Video calls will be charged as pay as you go and will not be included as part of your monthly local minutes or unlimited calls.
- As a postpaid customer, Omantel will send you a clear and detailed monthly bill for services provided showing the chargeable call units for national and international calls, data consumption, roaming charges, monthly subscription charge, as applicable, and payment due date which is 30 days from the date of the bill.
- You can access your bill to view details and pay via Omantel App.
- All the new Baqati add-on’s / special offers shall be available in Omantel App to subscribe in a single click and shall reflect in your bill.
- *Enable roaming services on existing Data Sharing SIMs provided with Baqati Platinum and Baqati Al Ufuq plans.
- *The monthly rental of each Smart SIM is 1 R.O.
- *The world roaming data and minutes (call back to Oman, calls within the roaming country, and receiving calls) included in the new Baqati plans are applicable to 100+ countries.
- The Baqati bundle data can only be used within GCC countries.
- Once Baqati bundle data is consumed, you can either continue as PAYG data roaming or subscribe to any of the Jawazak – roaming bundles.
- The International minutes of the new Baqati plans are applicable to 100+ countries.
- New Baqati plans are available for existing prepaid Hayyak customers who have been Omantel’s customers for more than 90 days.
- There are no charges for migrating from Hayyak prepaid to Baqati postpaid plans.
- In case of downgrade, termination, change to prepaid or change of ownership during the Baqati contract period, an early-exit fee shall apply as one month plan rental.
- All prices mentioned for the Baqati plans and its Add-ons are exclusive of VAT (A 5% VAT will be added to the total price upon purchase).
