He has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and public services. Currently, he has been serving as CEO of Nama Water Services for four years. He began his career at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. He then moved to the electricity regulatory sector, progressing until he assumed his current role. He holds a Master’s in Major Programme Management from the University of Oxford, a Master’s in Regulation of Utilities from the London School of Economics (UK), and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance & Economics) from the University of Louisville, USA.

Atif bin Said Al-Siyabi is the Chief Information officer at the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) in the Sultanate of Oman. His track record extends to more than 22 years in Information Technology and business transformation. His experiences vary from hands-on experience leading innovative technology solutions and system operations to transforming business operations and driving technological advancements.

He is involved in various investment initiatives in the ICT sector, where he has been leading numerous assignments, 
devising comprehensive strategies, and delivering several ICT projects at the national level. He earned a 
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Hardware and Networking Technology (Hons) from Coventry University 
and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University. He also attained Professional Leadership 
Development Certificate from HEC Paris. He is a Board Member of Bank Nizwa SAOG.

Held the position of CEO of Oman Airports and is acclaimed for his important role in elevating Oman Airports to a significant status globally and for his substantial contributions to the national efforts in transforming Oman's aviation sector. Under his leadership, major airports in the Sultanate were launched between 2015 and 2018, a period marked by numerous prestigious regional and international awards and accreditations. Beyond his notable achievements in aviation, Al Hosni holds key executive positions in various national and international companies, including Chairman of Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG and member of the Sohar International Bank.

Muhsin Alrustom is the Group CFO at Asyad, the leading Omani integrated logistics provider in the Middle East region.

With over 20 years of experience in the logistics and maritime sectors, Muhsin is an established finance professional focusing on sustainable value and financial excellence. He successfully operated and developed financial processes and systems, and managed corporate financing, hedging and liquidity needs.

Prior to joining Asyad, he served as the General Manager of Treasury at Asyad Shipping Company since 2018, following a tenure in Dubai as the Treasury Manager of OQ Trading and prior to that worked in various roles for DP World which included a two-year tenor at DPW’s European regional office in London.

Muhsin holds a degree in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University as well as CMA-certified accountant, and ACT-certified treasurer. Muhsin is also a certified business coach accredited by ICF.

Muhsin serves as a board member in several organizations, including as a board member at ASYAD Shipping Company, advisory Board member at UN Global Compact-CFO Coalition for SDGs, and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurer’s (ACT) middle east advisory board. Previously, he served as a board member at Salalah Port Services and a board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Abraj Energy Services.

She has over 20 years of experience in private equity, direct investments, and technology investments. She holds a Master’s in Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University.

Eng. Aladdin Baitfadhil assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Omantel on. He is a renowned business leader in the telecom’s landscape with over 20 years of strategic and operational experience in diverse multi-domain roles – spanning across marketing, sales, network operations, service delivery and customer experience. Eng. Aladdin holds several executive Board positions in prestigious organizations such as Zain Group, NAMA Water, Oman Data Park (ODP) and Infoline. After acquiring his Engineering Degree (in Electrical and Electronics) from Sultan Qaboos University, Eng. Aladdin has successfully completed executive leadership programs from globally acclaimed academic institutions such as Harvard Business School and London Business School.

He has Management experience in telecommunications networks and information technology. He Holds a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy, U.S.A.

Mr. Ghassan Al Hashar joined Omantel on March 2021 as Vice President, Finance, bringing on board more than 20 years of vast expertise and background in finance operations, especially as an Investment professional with national and international exposure and a proven track record in managing major assets classes. His area of specialisation extends to equities and capital markets, fixed income and money markets, financial structuring, corporate finance, risk management, valuation and investment research. His industry knowledge covers sectors like Banking, telecommunications, energy, real estate, power and utilities.

Prior to this responsibility, Mr Ghassan was Director of Investment Department at Public Authority for Social Insurance, which he joined as an Investment Officer and deservedly rose up the ranks, managing investments for one of the largest pension funds in Oman.

He served on the Boards of several reputed Omani Public Listed Companies, besides heading their audit, investment, risk and project development committees.

Mr Ghassan holds a MSc in Finance & Investment Management from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom besides several certifications from other reputed institutions like Invesco Sovereign Investment Programme Certificate from the University of Cambridge; Certificate in Financial & Legal Due Diligence from George Washington University among several other academic testimonials.

Ali Hussein is Omantel’s Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, where he plays a central role in guiding the company’s transformation from a telecom operator into a leading technology group.

With over 20 years of experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors, Ali brings visionary leadership and deep industry expertise to Omantel’s executive team. His focus is on driving strategic growth, fostering innovation, and positioning Omantel at the forefront of the tech industry, particularly in consumer technology, Generative AI, and market leadership.

A distinguished alumnus of Purdue University, Ali holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Before joining Omantel, he held key leadership roles, including CEO of Immerso Network at Eros Investment Group, where he led advancements in mixed reality, game engine technology, Generative AI, and cloud infrastructure. Ali also served as CEO of Eros Now, an OTT platform, and was part of the foundational teams at Google/YouTube (South Asia) and Viacom 18. His advisory work spans across Discovery Networks and several tech startups.

At Omantel, Ali is committed to driving the company’s strategic initiatives and solidifying its position as a leading tech player both in Oman and globally. By leveraging his extensive expertise, he aims to foster continuous innovation and collaboration to ensure Omantel thrives in the dynamic digital landscape.

Hamza Moosa Baqer is a seasoned governance and assurance leader with more than 25 years of experience across Oman’s financial, energy, infrastructure, and utilities sectors. Throughout his career, he has led major internal audit transformations, strengthened governance frameworks, and built high-performing audit functions in some of the country’s most strategic institutions. Before joining Omantel, Hamza served as Chief Audit Executive at Oman Arab Bank, where he successfully revamped the Internal Audit Function, enhanced regulatory alignment, and improved operational efficiency. His previous leadership roles include Group Chief Internal Auditor at Electricity Holding Company, Head of Group Internal Audit at Oman Oil Company, and Chief Internal Auditor at Oman Gas Company. He has also held positions at National Bank of Oman and KPMG. Hamza has contributed to national corporate governance through multiple board and audit committee roles, including Oman Oil Marketing Company, Abraj Energy Services, Duqm Refinery, Minerals Development Oman, and GS-PES in South Korea. He holds globally recognized professional certifications, including CIA, CISA, CISM, and CRISC, alongside academic qualifications in ICT and Computer Applications. Known for his strategic mindset, strong leadership, and commitment to excellence, Hamza brings deep expertise in governance, risk management, internal controls, and digital audit transformation to his role as Chief Audit Executive at Omantel.

Mohammed Al Abdullatif is the Vice President of Omantel’s Consumer Unit, leading one of the company’s largest revenue streams across mobility, broadband, and digital services. He brings close to three decades of experience in commercial strategy, business growth, and large-scale transformation across telecoms, banking, FMCG, and retail. Throughout his career, he has led complex transformation programmes spanning digital transformation, loyalty platforms, customer experience, and data-driven initiatives, delivering measurable commercial impact. At Omantel, he has been instrumental in driving revenue growth, improving cost efficiency, and embedding data and AI capabilities into core business operations. He has played a key role in developing Oman’s largest loyalty programme and advancing customer lifecycle strategies that have generated significant incremental revenue while enhancing customer engagement and retention. Prior to his current role, Mohammed held several senior leadership positions at Omantel, overseeing commercial planning, customer lifecycle management, and consumer sales. He also held leadership roles at Channels Oman, Ooredoo, Philip Morris International, and Oman International Bank. He holds an MBA from the University of Hull and a Bachelor of Natural Science from the University of Louisiana.

For the past two decades, Lujaina Al Kharusi’s professional journey has seen her straddle the telecommunications industry, actively addressing market deficiencies and advocating for an improved competitive and regulatory landscape. Her expertise lies in the realm of leadership and negotiation, driven by high levels confidence in steering projects, guiding teams, and facilitating discussions effectively.

Currently, as Vice President of Governance, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, Omantel, she spearheads the implementation of the Governance, Regulatory and Compliance strategy focused on strengthening Omantel's market leadership as the premier operator providing integrated telecommunications services. She also oversees the strengthening of Omantel's relationships with various regulators and other stakeholders in the telecom sector. Being a member of the senior management team, she contributes significantly to the new vision of the company to transform itself from a telco into a technology company.
Lujaina Al Kharusi’s rise to the current position was powered by her impressive performance in different companies in the telecom industry.
She holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Brunei, 2004.
